MVP's
AMERICAN LEAGUE MVP
My vote: heavymetalisbest. He literally came out of nowhere and carried BritPool to where they are now. Saves, clinchers, done everything except win a decisive game 7. Without him, they lose about 3 or 4 more matches, and likely miss the Playoffs. It's called Most VALUABLE Player for a reason. Nobody was more important to their etam than him.
PL's Cal gets the nod for 2nd. Sure he had Henry to help carry the load but he still came in each week and did his thing. As a Captain he took over for Sova after he got banned, and PL never slipped. 2 decisive game 7's, in 2 chances, 9 wins, I'll take that out of a player any day.
3rd is Pommy. 8-4, huge part of CKP's late-season push to reach the Playoffs, and had really nobody around him except overrated and/or sloppy players. CKP actually started getting players when he took over. Of course, any team with Mick and Neo should be expected to finish with 10+ wins, but CKP did good enough to have a shot in the Playoffs. Pommy did enough to get a mention.
NATIONAL LEAGUE MVP
Value plays an important role here. My MVP is still Boozilla. It would be Miz where he played a key role in the 5-2 win over CZ by beating Boo, and the fact that he led MLD for most of the season as captain... But guess what Miz has that Boo doesn't? GOod players around him. Rob is literally the only person who is truly reliable for a win and who has been around all season in Cheap Shotz. That's why he gets my vote.
Next would of course be Miz. Yeah, attitude may have some factor in the admin voting as well, but with my voting it simply came down to who everyone had around them, and what the player did this season. Miz had a good MVP resume, but he also had an undefeated Chex, and Tino. Those 3 combined for a 27-6 record.
3rd is Jamie. He has 2 major faults. #1 he's 0-2 in saves and one of those chances came in a 4-3 loss to Pool Loverz. #2 he couldn't beat Rob when he had the chance. 4-0 in clinches is good enough for 3rd, combined with his 10 wins, but when he had the chance to put himself over the top... He just couldn't do it.
