6-1 Triple Play On Wednesday Night
Not. Even. Close tonight.
LS_the.bawbag - PFN_x_original_pool_mafia_x (W) - Kind of a slow game. First few to go were Craig's (mafia's) stripes. This gave Ray a pretty big advantage in the endgame, which would come soon enough. Ray would make a HUGE mistake, though, and leave Craig an easy finish, and PFN gets the 1-0 lead.
LS_reversage2 - PFN_ny.jets (W) - Timmy (jets) ran into a little trouble at the end, just like the Jets actually... Had to choose between 2 shots, and instead he played an awful safety. But... It did work. He got ball in hand, and would finish out for a 2nd PFN win.
LS_kool.shotz - PFN_dirge_of_cubby (W) - Kool scratched, I ran him, that's what he gets for being a Dolphins fan.
LS_e_x_t_r_e_m_e_o_w_n_a_g_e - PFN_xlx_s_p_g_xlx (C) - Scotty would get a chance to run, and just like me... He did so. 4-0 PFN this one is over and over quick. Other results:

One thing to look at in LS in the future... koty was VERY upset playing "midpack" as he put it. I don't think he quite understood his role. He was in to SAVE, not play a meaningless game 6. Not that it mattered because LS nearly got swept, if not for Trio of all people. But I don't think you can expect to see Koty play any earlier than game 6 in the future, if he has his way. Granted, a good captain would tell him he's gonna play where the captain tells him to, but it's just something to look for.
Malditos looked to take advantage of a shaky BritPool league, tonight. Instead, it was Malditos getting rocked.
BP_stealthy_ninja1987 (W) - MLD_ll_k0rb3n_ll - Pretty slow start to this one. But the ninja would find an opening and finish out 3 solids and the 8 for the win, and BP leads it 1-0, despite all their in-league drama.
BP_vishu_is_the_best (W) - MLD_lll_n0_lll - n0 had a few chances to win this game, but ultimately it would be vishu getting the chance to run out and win, and all of a sudden BP has a 2-0 lead.
BP_badalnighter (W) - MLD_tino_nica - Malditos Captain trying to put his team on the board here. Pretty quick-moving game. Tino played a pretty good escape from the right side to the left side of the table. Vince would later stick the cueball right next to the 4ball, and block tino from his stripes. Nica would break that... And the game would go on a bit more. Vince easy shot on the 8, and he blows it! It isn't costly, however, as Vince does get the win and BP leads now THREE zip.
BP_bp_fvcken_stoner - MLD_Eminem_TheBadBoy (S) - Captain couldn't do it for MLD, so BP'S captain will try for BritPool. Pretty slow game here as well. Slow endgame, too. One of those where you would expect Eminem, who only had 1 stripe left, to make a big mistake... But he went a long time without doing so. Dan used his solids very well, though. In fact, it would be Dan making the big mistake, giving Eminem ball in hand. He would gain a decisive advantage and save it for MLD, it's now 3-1 BP.
BP_xx_mon_the_gers_xx (C) - MLD_Capt_Enforcer - Neo trying to keep it going, JUST couldn't break the 9ball free on the top rght side. Would it be costly? Neo got stuck behind mon's 3ball, by mon... and needed a reverse english cuebank to get behind the 9... NO. Left the 3, gers wins, BP clinches, it's 4-1. Here are the other results:

Malditos certainly not at full strength but look at who BP used. There is NO problem with this league getting players like they themselves feared. BP will be around this season for quite a while, controversy or not. They play Poolfiction next week, PFN still has CJP out for 1 match for his stupid comment about ryan using aa at the Tour HQ on Sunday, and also remember if he does it again, he is GONE for the Playoffs. Kerry has to shut him up, and fast.
Remember Star Fox vs. Star Wolf? ...Yeah, this one was about as close.
8BR_ta.lent - UP_ahmad_fraz1 (W) - ahmad gets an easy run at the end, runs 3 solids and out on the 8, and it's UnitedPool with the 1 to nothing advantage.
8BR_mvp_sicc (W) - UP_showmefaflo - Very slow game in this one, not a lot of progress at all early on. Showme though would go for it... And get a pretty easy run out of it. The question, of course... Could he finish it? Instead of spinning way back to get an easy shot on the 11 in the bottom right, he left a tough angle to the top middle. He would miss that. So sicc would take a chance... On the 8, a bank off the top rail to bottom middle. It wouldn't pass through the cueball, the game continues! In the end though, sicc would win to tie it up at 1.
8BR_c_o_r_e_y_y (W) - UP_lager_drinking_freak - Slow start to this, and a few fireworks at the table. But that would subside. Corey, late in the game, would miss an easy rail shot. Lager on the other hand... Not much better. For some stupid reason he put backspin on his first shot and stuck himself behind the 8ball. It would be costly as corey goes on to win it, Runners lead 2-1.
8BR_pool.chicky (W) - UP_aaron.from_hell - Didn't see much of this game. Aaron had a chance... But couldn't finish out a run. Chicky gets the win, and it's 3-1 8BR.
8BR_fsm_fear (C) - UP_xlx_k_e_t_a_n_xlx - Ketan has to save it against one of the best in the business.... Yeah not a chance. Zack makes quick work of ketan, and 8BR clinches, it's 4-1. Other results:

yyyyeah. UP just got a very rude awakening. Their middle players just couldn't play the cueball the right way. Too much unnecessary english, and a couple gimmes blown. That will KILL you against a team like 8Ball Runners. Still plenty of time to improve. 8BR... They get to play another team that may feel like they have something to prove, in UNY.
