Bam's Preseason Picks
This season could be full of upsets.
Well this is my first post as a newcomer to the Mlp Blog. As most of you already know and for those who don’t, I am Jeremy or l3ams_a_legend (Bam). Here are the predictions I have come up with for each conference.
American League
8BR [12-2] --- Well well, 8br is at the top again. Stud players for there team I would say are….Wait this is 8br, there all studs. :p 8br has a lot of depth, I just don’t see them losing at all this season. But, I think ckp might be able to sneak a win in and you can probably count on at least one match where nothing is going there way. I think 8br will make it to the world series easy to play pfn.
Players - Ivey, Josh, Mj, Adam, Andy, Matt, Si, Dec, Chris, Neo, Zack, Corey
CKP [11-3] --- The cuekeepers return with a solid team. I think they will lose to 8br at least once and lose some other close matches. Ckp should make a deep run into the playoffs but will fall just short of another world series. Ckp also has some depth to there roster, and can give 8br a match.
Players – Cal, Don, Matt, Drew, Pom Pom, Walter, Ben, Josh, Mick, Joey
UNY [9-5] --- Now to United Nations… Uny has been doing well in pro and I expect them to bring that same talent to MLP. Uny will make it to the playoffs and might make it to round 2 of playoffs but other than that..who knows. Uny has some solid players and could fish out a lucky win or 2 vs the top 2 teams in the conference.
Players – Godly Bank, Eddie, Me, Goodwooter, Neleh, Wicked.Nick, Brandon
PM [8-6] --- I don’t know if PoolMasters are still having trouble running tourneys or not, but i think PM will have an OK season. They will contend with UP and CZ for that final playoff spot and clinch it in final weeks. Good Luck
Players – Daquiet, Drew, Spanky, Zack
CZ [7-7] ---Cheapshotz…will be part of a 2 way tie in the conference. The defending World Series Champs won’t make it past the first round of playoffs if they even make it. Cz will need to put last season behind them as teams will be gunning for them to show them that they are nothing. This will be a disappointing season for Cz.
Players – Bang.King, Copen, Imhigher, Rob, Wizard, Mvp
UP [7-7] --- UP will have a average season and wouldn’t surprise me if they go sub 500. They will lose first round of playoffs as that final playoff spot will be between them and CZ I don’t really expect UP to do anything exciting. Better get people signing up, 6 people wont win you anything.
Players – Aaron, King, Lager, Ketan
FT [5-9] --- FookinTuna.. I hate tuna J. FT will have a disappointing season and won’t be that successful in MLP. So far they only have 5 players signed up, season start isn’t that far way…better get on it.
Players – Sicc.Destroyer, All Starz
BA [3-11] --- Good Luck this season as you’ll need it. You might be able to sneak out some wins but other than that, Show up every match with 7 and you might surprise me.
Players – im just jeremy
National League
PFN [13-1] --- PFN, yes, the national league champs(this season) are back to there dominance. They will be back for unfinished business. The runner ups will be back in the world series vs 8br. This team doesn’t have to worry about players switching teams. Pfn has a lot of depth as 8br and always have a solid 7. There only loss will come from PL.
Players – Bpw, Derek, Dr Blastt, Tyler, Jamyo, Chris Dogg, Ogges, Bpk, Joe, Scott, Tj, James
PL [12-2] --- The PoolLegends will have another great season, but will come up just short of the world series. PL also has depth to their roster and should have no problem fielding a decent team every outing.
Players – Jesse, Jer, Life.Steala, Vaughn, Pita, Jase or Draper w/e, poolstud if hes still with em, Aaron
BP [9-5] --- BP is back and will surprise a lot of teams this season. BP will lose in the 2nd rd of playoffs, this season should be one BP can be proud of. I don’t think BP will have to worry about any of there players switching. They’ll need to find a game 7 player that they can count on.
Players – Badal, Devilishly, Palp, Paris, Streak
MLD[9-5] --- The Malditos will compete with BP for the 3rd place finish in the conference. As long as no one leaves MLD for another team, 3rd place shouldn’t be a problem. They will have to show up with there solid 7 every week or they might even slip as low as 5th.
Players – Chex, Miz, Maldito Oz, Tino, Uriiel
PZ [8-6] --- PoolLoverz, I don’t know why I have them this low but well see how it turns out. PZ will have no trouble achieving at least the 5th playoff spot. They’ll end up losing rd 1 of playoffs. I have a feeling that someone or few of them might switch to other teams. Id say that they could even contend for 4th also. They should surprise a lot of teams and will have a lot of game 7 deciders.
Players – Angel, Ch1cubs, eye, Kansas, Charlie, Dwight
TPL [7-7] --- This is a new league to MLP. They could pull off a few upsets, as they upset CKP in pro the other week. :o This team could either be good or just lucky? Only time will tell. They don’t have anyone signed up yet, so I hope they can field a team of 7 by next week.
Players – No Idea.
LS [5-9] --- I don’t know anything bout this team. They are leading there conference in pro which consists of CKP, PZ, MLD, PL but this isn’t a 5v5 format its 7v7.. Good Luck
Players – No Idea.
SS [4-10] --- I also don’t know anything bout this team. There not in pro. Good Luck in MLP.
Players – No Idea.
