Pre-season Picks (aka: Cubby guarantees teams no hope of a World Series)

Well we're back for another fun season of MLP! 3 new leagues, 1 really not so new but hey, and one really BADASS-looking page. By the way I'll get to that too at the end of this. For now, let's see who won't have a good season as I predict who WILL!

Week 1 Predictions + Overall Record Projections:

8Ball Runners @ Fookin Tuna - Welcome to MLP Fookin Tuna. Oh by the way you play probably the best team in your conference week 1. Do enjoy the show. 8BR is just too good, too deep, they always have been, probably always will be, to lose to an upstart league like FT. Don't count them out ENTIRELY, though. They've had semi-decent showings in interleagues, and always seem to have something to prove when picked to lose. My pick, Runners win 5-2.

8BR Final Record: 13-1 (#1)
FT Final Record: 7-7 (T3)

Pool Masters @ Cheap Shotz - This one's really up in the air. It simply depends on who plays where between UnitedPool and CheapShotz. I think CZ can maintain at least a few of their good players, minus Scott who went to PFN. Pool Masters, solid league, they may struggle slightly, but I think they'll have a solid season and, as per usual, do just enough to make it into the Playoffs. They'll start by losing 3-4 here though, as the Cheap Shotz pick up that 1st win of the season and then suck the rest of the 1st half again :p

PM Final Record: 7-7 (T3)
CZ Final Record: 6-8 (#5)

So that's Monday... Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday will come when I fele like actually looking at them. For now, I wanna talk about David (redhot)

You would be hard-pressed to find a non-dickweed (Rizzo, PC, Trio, gtap, etc.) I disliked more than him over the past few seasons. I don't think it's any secret I've never seen eye to eye with him. EVER. But something has to be said about his professionalism. Break and Run is out of MLP, partially Chip can be thanked for that, though they're pretty much on speed dial if someone drops. But also because of concerns that they won't be able to get 7 every match. Yet David continues to help with coding the MLP page, along with Kelly. I think a HUGE "THANK YOU!" is in order here. One thing I've learned through the first year of college: It doesn't matter what you think, as long as you respect people and are a professional when the time comes to do a job. Nobody is making them do anything here. They could say "k we're done" and leave us to handle the page on our own. Instead, they hang around and create maybe the best interleague page EVER. Again, a major "THANK YOU" goes out to Kelly and David for that.

PS: Yes the damn newsletter is coming out, all. I'm workin on it :P
